welcome to my journey

this is the beginning of a REAL attempt at living a healthier life. i've been half-trying for a couple of years now. i'm losing the battle. and it's been a battle. i've just been given a new lease on life...early retirement! i no longer have the burden (or excuse) of a stressful, life sapping job to keep me from getting my family to a better place. a place where junk food isn't our main food group. i have a feeling it's going to be an interesting ride.
